트럼페터 이주한이 2007년 재즈의 대중화를 위해 결성한 팝재즈 밴드 윈터플레이가 이주한의 원맨밴드로 재편성된 후 선보이는 첫 싱글 ‘Es Tu Vida (에스 투 비다)’는 가벼운 보사노바 리듬에, 물 흐르는 듯한 이주한의 재즈 랩과, 보컬 Grace의 상큼한 노래가 어우러져 유니크함을 더한 곡이다.

‘Es Tu Vida (에스 투 비다)’는 “It’s Your Life, 너의 인생이야” 라는 뜻의 스페인어로, 재즈 뮤지션으로 살아온 이주한 자신의 이야기를 익살스러우면서도 동화스럽고 솔직하게 표현한 재즈랩 가사와 토마스 쿡의 재치있는 한글 가사가 더해져, 후크적인 멜로디의 후렴구와 함께 이 가을의 온도처럼, 덥지도 춥지도 않은 산뜻한 기분을 선사한다. 

앨범의 아트웍은 프랑스와 미국 뉴욕을 기반으로 활동하는 신진 아티스트들이 참여했다. 뮤직비디오는 VJ 겸 애니메이터인 요한나 루소 (Johanna Rousseau)가, 앨범 커버 디자인은 브루클린 베이스의 엘레나 메갈로스(Elena Megalos)가 맡아 각자의 ‘Es Tu Vida (에스 투 비다)’를 윈터플레이의 음악에 투영했다.
